Who are our members?

When you join the GD-HBA you are in good company! We are the largest and most influential industry association in the Dufferin area. Our members represent all parts of the residential construction industry:

Builders - Member builders construct over 80% of all housing in Canada. Our membership includes five local builders.

Renovators - As the renovation industry grows, so does our renovator membership. An increased amount of our members are engaged in renovation activities, and we expect this number to increase in the years ahead.

Trade contractors - From plumbers to electricians to drywallers, trade contractors are integral members of the "team" and play a critical cole in the GD-HBA.

Manufacturers - The overall quality of new home and renovation projects in large part depends on the quality of the products used. Many major manufacturers of building products are long-time members of our Association.

Suppliers- From national and regional building supply chains to individual local companies, suppliers of quality building products and services are strongly represented in our Association.

Financial institutions - Canada's major financial institutions are strong partners in the Association, with many holding memberships across the country.

Governments - Representatives of governments and housing agencies at the local, provincial and national levels play an active role as members of the Association.

Services and professionals - The home building industry includes many other service and professional groups that all play an important role in bringing choice, quality and value to the marketplace. Architects, engineers, lawyers, accountants, utilities, warranty programs, real estate and marketing companies, media people and many others are valued members.
